[ Summary ] Vascular calcification complicated with chronic kidney disease is an important factor associated with cardiovascular disease and mortality. Bone mineral disorders promote vascular calcification and heart valve calcification. Vascular calcification causes left ventricular hypertrophy by impairing the elasticity of the blood vessel. Valve calcification progresses to aortic valve stenosis, which has fatal consequences. It is necessary to establish an evaluation and treatment method for calcification.
