| [ Summary ] | The KDIGO published the first clinical guideline on CKD-MBD in 2009. Those conditions have been recognized as systemic disorders, along with cardiovascular disease, fractures, vascular calcification, and mortality as major outcome factors. When CKD-MBD has already developed at the initiation of dialysis, it must be reviewed in its pre-dialysis stages. The revised guideline has now been published based on recent evidence observed in pre-dialysis patients. |
