[ Summary ] |
Reliable clinical evidence is essential for better understanding and management of chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorders (CKD-MBD). For our clinical study, a trail database was essential. In this article, outlines of representative databases for a clinical study of CKD-MBD are reviewed. These include the United States Renal Data System, the Fresenius Medical Care (North America) cohort, the Dialysis Outcomes and Practice Patterns Study (DOPPS), the Japan DOPPS and the Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy cohort. This article introduces representative clinical evidence from each database. |
