| [ Summary ] | Recent advances in genome science enable us to study genetic factors (susceptibility genes) associated with common polygenic diseases. In this review, approaches for the genetic factors related to the common diseases, based on the positional information, developed through utilization of genetic polymorphisms, are described with an emphasis on associated problems and the infrastructure necessary for these genetic studies. | |
