| [ Summary ] | There is no established treatment for acute kidney injury (AKI) and early detection and intervention are important. Urinary NGAL and urinary TIMP2/IGFBP7 are adopted into clinical practice in Japan and in the U.S. and offer the ability to identify the risk of AKI. The method of identifying the progression of AKI by using diuretics, called as furosemide stress test, is also valid. | |
