[ Summary ] Combination therapy hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients must start a new kind of life with a combination therapy of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. However, it is not easy to establish a certain life with such a combination therapy. When considering nursing care for patients undergoing combination therapy of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, it is important to first know the illness history of patients living with peritoneal dialysis. By listening to the patient's illness history, the nurse can know the patient's current situation and his or her intrinsic concern. Furthermore, it can lead to nursing care in which the nurse values careful care for the patient. When considering nursing care, it is also important to consider along with patients and to collaborate with other departments as necessary.
