[ Summary ] The prevalence of dementia in our country in 2012 was about 4.62 million, and it is said that it will increase to 7 million in the year 2025. As dialysis patients age, it is inferred that dementia will increase. Based on these facts, dialysis nursing for dementia patients is indispensable. Currently, we have experienced cases of dementia after introduction of dialysis and have refl ected on severe cases with hospitalization to improve the cognitive symptoms that become severe during hospitalization. We reaffirm that living environment is important, reflect on and analyze it, and provide new knowledge on nursing for dialysis patients with dementia. I gained knowledge, and my results could be a foothold for future nursing.
