[ Summary ] |
The nurse, as a reflective practitioner, can create new knowledge through practice. The reflective practitioner can realize what a patient wants and enact it. For this purpose, the nurse him or herself must have proper understanding of reflection and must acquire a way to learn from practice. Furthermore, nurses can provide that support to patients with chronic disease, who have a long-term illness. The nurse is able to support them as they think, "Is my behavior toward my illness correct?" |
