Children with CKD continue to grow and develop; therefore, it is important to care for developmental growth along with psychosocial development, which is often overlooked. Medical staff, families, school teachers, and school nurses must support children with CKD to accomplish psychosocial developmental tasks and help them gain self-esteem, with an understanding of modern social background. |
