Dialysate contacts the blood through the membrane, chemical substance dissolved in the dialysis water must be removed. Currently, the chemical substance standards for dialysis water are defined by 22 international standards. In addition to the criteria for dialysis water, in addition to the standards for dialysis water, Japan also stipulates that the quality of the supply water that becomes raw water satisfies 51 items according to the Water supply Act. For safety of treatment, chemical substances in dialysate must be managed based on these water quality standards. |
