[ Summary ] The goal of treating chronic kidney disease in children is not only to reduce symptoms, improve quality of life, and prevent complications, but also allow them to become self-sustaining adults. Therefore, it is necessary for nurses to provide systematical support per the transitional program at each development stage. In this paper, we described cure and care through nursing practice for children with chronic kidney disease toward self-reliance at each developmental stage of the case.
