[ Summary ] A high incidence of cancer in chronic dialysis patients has been reported. In Japan, the rate of malignant tumors as a cause of death in dialysis patients is increasing. Early detection of cancer in maintenance dialysis patients is impossible with periodic examinations in dialysis facilities. Endoscopic screening for cancer of the stomach and bowel, and screening for cervical cancer are effective. Participation in large-scale screening is essential.
