| [ Summary ] | The most popular Japanese hemodialysis system is knowns as CDDS (central dialysis fluid delivery system). It is not available in another countries. As a result, it is very unique around the world. It will be very difficult to introduce CDDS in some countries, but will be easy to implement Japanese high quality water treatment systems in foreign countries, because water treatment methods are almost the same in many countires. ASEAN countries will experience a dramatic growth in the number of dialysis patients. Companies providing dialysis supplies should make concerted efforts to provide service to these countries. To maintain high water quality, education concerning condensates is necessary. However, many years of training by Japanese clinical engineers are required strongly to support ASEAN countries in realizing excellent water treatment system in short time periods. | |
