| [ Summary ] | Patients who will need renal replacement therapy (RRT) in the near future should receive appropriate information and make the necessary preparation. Collaboration between nephrologists, dialysis unit physicians, surgeons, transplant surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff is necessary for appropriate RRT. Not only nephrologists, but also dialysis unit physicians should be familiar with the proper management of chronic renal failure and appropriate timing of RRT initiation. | |
