[ Summary ] This elderly female patient became bedridden before dialysis initiation. Positive results were achieved with rehabilitation including provision of proper nutritional content. Physical function improved with increased oral intake. Pre admission, she experienced ADL reductions due to existing joint symptoms. Uremic symptoms associated with the progression of renal dysfunction were compounded by poor diet, leading to urgent hospitalization for dialysis. After hospitalization, dialysis treatment was continued. Gradually improved overall patient conditions were achieved by providing rehabilitative care. Gradual changes in administration of nutritional content corresponding to the patient's condition made it possible for the patient to move in a wheelchair. Nutritional management for patients in a bedridden state and a rehabilitative team approach are important for appropriate patient care.
