| [ Summary ] | Advances in medical technology for dialysis have prolonged the lives of dialysis patients. As a result improving their life quality has become a primary goal for dialysis therapy providers. Health professionals need to support not only patients but also patients family members because family support is an important factor to maintain proper medical care. This report is aimed at gaining basic information on how care is delivered to dialysis patients. The evaluation of dialysis patients and their families' and how dialysis affects their daily lives was gathered. Patient quality of life was examined in relation to the effects on dialysis patients' and their families' quality of life. | |
