[ Summary ] This study was undertaken to examine patient satisfaction with peritoneal dialysis (PD), focusing attention on QOL and the impact of PD on patients' lives. Seventy PD patients were asked to rate their overall satisfaction with PD therapy. PD patients are generally satisfied with their medical care. Adequate information and education before introducing PD are necessary to improve patient satisfaction levels.
