| [ Summary ] | To efficiently provide the best health care ; staff members must all perform their work competently. A key factor ensuring they do is the management decisions made by the medical officer of the day. There are few medical officer training tools for dialysis treatment personnel suited to individual work sites. We have developed the Scenario Performance system as a decision making training tool for medical officers of the day. It has been used to train clinical engineers. The results have clarified site leader's decision making processes. Feedback is shared with medical officers, confirming this system's effectiveness as an educational training tool. | |
