[ Summary ] In the highly complex and demanding healthcare field, it is difficult to rely solely on individual medical staff members to achieve patient safety and quality care standards. Healthcare must be recognized as a critical social mechanism. It is important that knowledge evolves to provide improved healthcare, ensuring patient safety and quality assurance developed from personal knowledge and organizational knowledge.
The knowledge necessary to refine healthcare into a social system includes clinical knowledge of medical specific technology. This will serve as a core to create patient safety, quality assurance and quality management.
