[ Summary ] A high incidence of cancer in a chronic dialysis patients has been reported, In, recent years in this country, the ratio of malignant tumors has increased as a cause of dialysis patients' death. We may reducing mortality rates for cancer through early detection. Early detection is not impossible with periodic inspections at dialysis facilities. Medical checkups to examine the stomach and intestines with endoscopic examination, or examinations of the uterine cervex for cancer, are effective. Yearly abdominal CT examinations for renal cancer are very useful.
