| [ Summary ] | The primary responsibility of clinical engineers is provide proper operation and maintenance of medical equipment. Improving education and awareness of safety by medical staffs has become more important in providing safe and proper medical treatment. Hemodialysis therapy requires higher levels of safety. Hemodialysis therapy may be compromised because a small number of medical staff members may treat a large number of dialysis patients in the same facility. Therefore, clinical engineers must be fully educated to provide optimum care. |
