| [ Summary ] | Because of a rapidly aging population, home medical care and improvements in social participation for planning dialysis systems are necessary for implementation of renal replacement therapy. It is well recognized that peritoneal dialysis (PD) may prolong the life of school children. Treatment plans in line with lifestyles make it possible to provide dialysis therapy while maintaining lifestyles for children, similar to, those in dialysis periods. The usefulness of PD in relation to social participation and planning for dialysis is examined. | |
