| [ Summary ] | We care for dialysis patients in a long term care facility. This is accomplished in a multiple function complex which was designed for long term health care, including dialysis. This facility was organized in terms of data gathered over a five year period and arranged to provide care to the local region. Consultation rates for associated hospitals and reasons for treatment of dialyzed patients are analyzed. Causes of difficulties with admission to long term care health facilities for dialysis are discussed for future care of dialysis patients. | |
