[ Summary ] In addition to the physiological dysfunctions brought on by aging, elderly patients receiving dialysis treatment also suffer from a range of complications, including disuse syndrome. In order to improve these patients' conditions, the concept of "inclusive rehabilitation for chronic kidney disease" was introduced. "Rehabilitation for CKD" is a new concept to rehabilitate internal organ dysfunction. It is accomplished through comprehensive exercise, dietary therapy, hydration management, medication, education, and mental support, in an ongoing basis. It is hoped that this type of rehabilitation will become widely available to maintain patients' quality of life.
