[ Summary ] Forty percent of deaths occurring in hemodialysis patients are attributable to cardiovascular events including ischemic heart disease. Taking into account of the significant risk factors and clinical symptoms, early consultation with cardiology specialists is important. Hemodialysis patients with significant coronary artery stenosis should receive coronary revascularization either through percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary artery bypass grafts. Efforts should be made to address ischemic heart disease early. Prompt consultation with cardiology specialists is necessary.
