[ Summary ] The importance of prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) is well recognized. Several guidelines for treatment have also been published. However the effects of these counter measures in treating CKD depend on the adherence of CKD patients to treatment regimens. Adherence includes many elements such as diet therapy, drug injestion and life style. Our hospital educates CKD patients in our outpatient clinic through a program for consultation related to CKD guide for nursing. Dialysis prevention teams to treat diabetic CKD patients may employ seminars for CKD treatment of patients. As a result, we have achieved beneficial results for the management of CKD patients to achieve better outcomes. The fundamentals of our trials are introduced.
