[ Summary ] It is the directionality of post-guidelines on peritoneal dialysis (PD) therapy, but, as for PD therapy in itself, much situation does not change after guidelines report. A tendency to increase includes the introduction number of patients, but increase of the number of patients is slight increase, and the big change does not have the society report until now, too. However, a symposium was held with a title "peritoneal dialysis guidelines afterwards" in the Japanese society for dialysis therapy, and the evidence construction of the part about dose proposed in guidelines was done. In the PD nurse seminar, a social background surrounding PD care and a family, so the meaning of guidelines is thin in this sense. But a slogan to make "Simple PD" and the movement aiming at the spread comes out.
