[ Summary ] The relationship between peer patient groups, medical professionals and MSWs is important to support the lives of hemodialysis patients. It is especially important to recognize that interactions between these groups forms an integral and vital element in the lives of HD patients. It is also essential to relate to these patients in terms of the stage of their lives in relation to disease progression.
We report on treatment of younger patients in terms of the effectiveness of improving care of individual patients through group interaction. Skillful work by MSWs in providing coordination of individuals, patient peer groups and medical professionals can optimize care for HD patients.
