[ Summary ] Team healthcare among medical professionals as well as between patients and medical professionals is considered necessary for the treatment of kidney diseases. It is due to the unique relationship between medical professionals and patients with chronic diseases and potential multiple complications. Based upon the fieldwork on healthcare professionals, patients and families along with the literature survey, this study shows the four factors essential for the team healthcare : professional-oriented, patient-oriented, interdisciplinary-oriented, and collaboration-oriented team care. Each factor contains conflicts so that the attempt for the team healthcare encounters difficulties. However, listening to others and active communication would enable its realization.
