[ Summary ] |
In 2007, the Japan Renal Biopsy Registry (J-RBR) and the Japan Kidney Disease Registry (J-KDR) were constructed on the site of the University Hospital Medical Information Network (UMIN) by the Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN). 15,487 cases had been registered on the UMIN site by the end of 2011. The J-RBR / J-KDR registry provided nationwide cohort data for epidemiological studies of chronic kidney disease (CKD). In addition, further studies presented on this site were promoted by the JSN as "secondary studies" for nephrotic syndrome, rapidly progressive nephritic syndrome, IgA nephropathy, polycystic diseases and diabetic nephropathy in the Japanese population. |
