| [ Summary ] | Dialysis based medical care, has been divided in terms of the roles played by hospitals and clinics. However, the functions of hospitals have changed in recent years due to health care reforms. Clinics are required to play new roles and to find ways of cooperate with other health care professionals. The future capabilities of hospitals will probably be limited to specialist outpatient, as well as inpatient services. Clinics will be required to support QOL for patients by providing services necessary for continued development of home care. | |
