[ Summary ] An increase in the number of reports of workers with mental health problems in workplaces has been observed. Hospitals are not an exception to these problems. It has become apparent that the stressors which cause most angst in the workplace are bullying, harassment, and violence. Methods for stress management in hospital settings, are introduced. Furthermore, the future of stress management, "FISH" philosophy (a workplace management tool : pioneered by John Christensen), and positive forms of psychology are outlined.
