[ Summary ] Plasmapheresis has been found to be effective in combating various collagen related diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematodes, rheumatoid arthritis, malignant rheumatoid arthritis, Goodpasture's syndrome, ANCA-positive vasuculitis, and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. In this article, we review the indications for plasmapheresis to treat these diseases.
