[ Summary ] Osteolytic lesions caused by inflammatory boneresorption around Aβ2M amyloid deposition are referred to as dialysis related amyloidosis osteopathy (DRAO). Dialysis related amyloidosis syndromes, including DRAO are currently not considered to be related to CKD-MBD. Since this disease is involved with multiple local lesions, it is sometimes the object of surgical treatments. Therefore, physicians must carefully look for symptoms of this condition in the daily clinical practices.
