[ Summary ] Peritoneal dialysis (PD) is the primary treatment for end-stage kidney disease in congenital renal disease cases. Medical staff members and patients' families need to discuss PD and complications related to renal failure. Renal transplantation and prognose for other diseases must also be considered. Growth and heart function are important in infant PD treatment. Energy intake, phosphate balance and blood pressure control are especially important for precise control of anuric PD patients.
