| [ Summary ] | The number of dialysis medical facilities is not high. In the other hand, the quantity of medical waste from dialysis medical facilities is high in relation to that produced by other medical facilities. The overall medical waste problem is related to the waste problems for dialysis medical facilities. There is insufficient information regarding this problem from the viewpoint of medical centers. Taking this into consideration, data from a questionnaire survey concerning the current state of infectious waste from dialysis facilities in Chiba prefecture was carried out every two years, starting in 1996. | |
