[ Summary ] There are four basic problems with education related to CAPD treatment. The first is that there has not been a clarified purpose for this education. The second is that education tends to be based on the experiences of individual educators. The third problem is lack of standardization for CAPD educational content, especially that related to life management. The fourth problem is lack of recognition that it is important for the education to correspond the motives of people receiving the education, as well as differences in their knowledge and experience.
And, when medical staff educates patients of the end stage renal disease, we need to reorganize contents so that a patient can understand.
