[ Summary ] We assumed that continuous observation is desirable just after blood access construction or percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). Thus, we developed a device, with which continuous observation and visual monitoriug of the shunt bruit was possible. We succeeded in continuously and non-invasively observing the shunt bruit without any damage to the shunt. Moreover, standardization of evaluation was achieved by making the shunt bruit visible. Using this device, we can address shunt trouble immediately when the shunt bruit is changed, which will result in benefits to patients.
