[ Summary ] It is important for kidney transplant recipients to have knowledge concerning immunosuppressive therapy and for them to do self-management daily for long-term graft survival. Pharmaceutical care is performed by pharmacists so that recipients can have proper knowledge of immunosuppressants. Nutritional guidance is given by dietitians so that recipients can prevent complications. Nurses should cooperate with other care givers and supplement guidance by checking recipients' knowledge, and provide patient education for self-management, to achieve high quality of life and long-term graft survival.
