[ Summary ] MRSA infectious disease appears to have several clinical symptoms. In cases of kidney failure, artificial agents such as catheters, may be connected with infectious diseases and it is necessary to remove them to recover from infections. When anti-MRSA agents are administrated to dialysis patients, the dosages and intervals should be reduced, along with therapeutic drug concentration monitoring. Almost all clinically isolated MRSAs are from colonization sites. As MRSA infections in dialysis patients are internally-infectious diseases, eradication of colonization would prevent the renewed spread of infections. Usually MRSA is transmitted via touching. Therefore, standard precaution should prevent MRSA from spreading to patients. In case of MRSA pneumonia or colitis, infections are spread by droplets. Additional isolation and gown utilization methods are judicious ways to prevent outbreaks.
