[ Summary ] Infectious diseases are among the events with the highest morbidity and mortality rates for dialysis patients. These infectious diseases often lead to sepsis. Uremia is associated with a state of immune dysfunction with increased susceptibility to infection. In this review, the possible influence of ureimc toxins on immune dysfunction in dialysis patients is discussed.
