Due to steady efforts over the past two decades, the role of the clinical engineers has begun to play an important role in the dialysis medical field. However, the duty of clinical engineers is different in each institution. In the dialysis medical field, the role of clinical engineers has not been clarified. To develop the role of clinical engineers, it is important that we pursue this specialty of clinical engineering. Therefore, described here in are the important points concerning research activities in the medical field. The activity of clinical engineers in blood purification is emphasized along with ways the field may be developed in the future. |
