Title Management of pediatric patients with pre-dialysis renal insufficiency

[ Summary ] In the management of pediatric patients with chronic renal insufficiency, we should pay attention to the wide-ranging problems of growth, blood pressure / circulation, blood volume, bone / endocrine metabolism, mental development, urological anomalies, the possibility of the need for pre-emptive renal transplantation, and progression to ESRD. This is because when is necessary for early predialysis, management of pre-dialysis renal insufficiency is quite likely these conditions will dictate the physical, mental and social prognosis. Recently, we have begun to do renal transplantations pre-emptively, so the importance of detailed plans for the pre-dialysis period have become important. Management of pediatric chronic renal insufficiency becomes complicated, and can not be carried out by one doctor but should be done by a skilled medical team, in a hospital which is prepared and has various kinds of specialists.
