[ Summary ] Dyalized, diabetic patients often suffer from severe atherosclerosis, and this is the reason why gangrenes in their feet is difficult to cure. Most must be amputated at the lower leg or above the knee. These patients have so many complications that operations are difficult, and several doctors and medical staff members must collaborate closely. When local infection or sepsis can not be controlled medically, the amputation must be carried out promptly. After these patients undergo amputations, they generally cannot survive for long time.
