[ Summary ] With renal disease patients and dialysis patients, some studies have indicated that certain disorders are produced by the accumulation or absence of trace elements. TIP studies that have been done elucidate the role of trace elements and the co-actions trace elements have in vital functions. Progress on trace element analys has been made in these fields. This report, demonstrates that trace element distribution of serum in dialysis patients may be done with the latest types of analysis including particle induced X-ray emissions (PIXE) using an accelerator. We also compared the results from examinations of renal functioning and serum levels in relation to dialysis treatment and individual dialysate medium element conductors.
