[ Summary ] Providing equipment without waste is indispensable in providing dialysis facilities chosen for severe medical situations. Dialysis patients require safe, high quality dialysis in a comfortable dialysis room. In the dialysis room, the need for a comfortable environment is required more so than in other medical institutions, because long term stays are not avoidable in dialysis therapy. A comfortable environment should be provided with sufficient treatment areas, cleanness, high quality air conditioners, etc.
Reducing the discomfort of long term confinement with audio-visual equipment, etc. is also necessary. It is also important to provide space where patient's private consultations can be performed.
Consideration of the staff member's comfort is required to achieve satisfaction in the management of dialysis units.
