[ Summary ] Comprehensive medical care, including diagnostic procedures combination (DPC) began at specified hospitals in our country in 2003. An outline of DPC was explained and the advantages and disadvantages of DPC were at university hospitals. There are various problems with comprehensive medical care in the field of blood purification, therefore we must reconsider DPC to maintain high quality of medical care to satisfy patient's requests.
