[ Summary ] Blood access trouble is a major complication related to quality of life (QOL) and mortality. Mechanical thrombectomy (hydro dynamic thrombectomy) is a newly developed method for treatment of obstructed blood access. This new therapy is dramatically effective for obstructed blood access with artificial grafts as compared to that without artificial grafts. The target of this treatment is long-term maintenance of blood access and less harm to QOL in hemodialysis patients.
