| [ Summary ] | This paper reviews an overview and evaluation of renal rehabilitation, using the International Classification of Impairment, Disability and Handicaps frame work. Long-term survival has become more of an increasing reality, but, the rehabilitation of hemodialysis patients remains more of a goal rather than a reality. Rehabilitation strategies can contribute to improved QOL for hemodialysis patients. Rehabilitation is seen as an integral part of patients care. Kidney Disease Quality of Life (KDQOL) is a useful scale of renal rehabilitation. |
