[ Summary ] Acute renal failure induced by haloperidol frequently occurs as a complication of malignant syndrome. Significant association have been found between the respective frequencies of acute renal failure and dehydration as complications of psychogenic disturbances. The types of blood purification methods used on myoglobinuric acute renal failure are hemodiafiltration and hemodialysis. The prognosis was rather good in many patients whose systolic blood pressure was around 100mmHg over at the start of treatment of blood purification.
